Sound issues, voice stopping mid phrase

With latest app update on iOS 26.5. Voice sound cues are cut off mid-phrase including timing calls, exercise name/start cues, and (if selected) exercise instruction audio over video clips

colonel rikbruil Do you still have issues with the latest version (5.7.2) ?

Louis Deveseleer It has definitely improved, although sometimes rep counts of an exercise still get cut off.  (Meaning the rep count after the exercise name is faded out, after this the rest of the message is audible again)
I have a feeling the countdown during rest until the next exercise is also fighting with the announcement of the next exercise itself just before exercise start.
In terms of timing of the countdown, there still seems to be an issue. The numbers 3 and 2 get pronounced with consistent timing, but then there is more than a second pause before 1 and ‘done’ get pronounced.

colonel I think it's due to some default values changing in the configuration of text-to-speech. We're gonna attempt a fix in the next version, which should come out within a week from today.
