Timer countdown doesn't always play

I have the one-leg stand exercise in one of the supersets, and the timer countdown doesn't always play (the voice counting down time every 5 seconds). It's either it calls te time correctly for the whole set or that it's not there at all for the whole set. The tick sounds play just fine consistently, it's just the voice. Maybe it's because of the odd? exercise duration? Last time it was 52 seconds and it didn't play for the 1st set. Before that 44 seconds and it didn't play for sets 2 and 3.

For my part, I also notice moments when there is no voice, both during countdowns during duration-based exercises, and during rest periods (10" before the end of the rest period). As time goes by, I am less able to identify why this is happening or not happening. With regard to rest time, however, I noticed that if I click on an exercise to watch the video or the technical details, very often I don't get the 10" warning before the end. Sometimes, there is still the “Go” to indicate the end of the rest time, sometimes not. It is very strange.
Edit: I just did a 45' session, and I confirm that the voice disappears completely randomly: some series it is audible, some others not...

Hi sweaty-fatty thanks for the report. So to be clear, the issue is that on some occasions the 5-seconds voice doesn't play at all during the countdown?

Louis Deveseleer Yes, for the whole set. at least that's what I'm experiencing.
Louis Deveseleer
sweaty-fatty Ok thanks for confirming, we'll look into it!

Louis Deveseleer Did you manage to recreate the issue? It's still happening from time to time. On my last session it happened on the 1st exercise (a warmup, one set of 1 minute wrist circles), for example.

sweaty-fatty Hi, I tried solving but without success. It happens inconsistently, and more on some devices than others. I eventually had to move on to other things, but I'll come back to this issue when possible and try to solve it another way.

Louis Deveseleer Understandable, considering it seems like it's not bothering many other users. If there's anything I can do to help, let me know. Maybe you can send me a special build with additional telemetry to help you track it down?
Louis Deveseleer
sweaty-fatty: Do you still have this issue now?

Louis Deveseleer Unfortunately I haven't returned to exercising yet and therefore haven't used the app in a long while (3-4 months) after my injury. Still doing cardio, though. I think I'll be getting back to it soon and I'll report back on the issue.

Louis Deveseleer Hey there, the issue is still happening on my end 👌
For me, the voice is almost never working, but the voice countdown is somehow working on unilateral exercise but only on the second side. I don't know if that helps at all, but these are my observations!
Using a pixel 7, android 15 build BP1A.250505.005.B1, Calistree 4.28.4
I posted a screen capture of the voice I selected which might not be the default one (can't remember if I set it up or not)

Mathis Gauthey Thanks for the feedback!
When you say "the voice is almost never working", you mean during the set timer (shown on your screenshot), but it is is working in other places, especially when "auto-play" is enabled, right?
What's weird is that I have the same phone as you (Pixel 7) and even if I select the same voice, everything is working fine on my device...

Louis Deveseleer Hey, yup the voice is actually working, I get for instance the next exercises instructions or when I check an exercise video I get the details with text to speech.
What is never working, except on weird occasions, is the voice that tells you "10 seconds... Half the time !... 5 seconds remaining..." during an execution set. I find it is a really cool feature especially when doing holds, it gives me the same "keep going" body response as if I had a coach by my side.
