We've added more routines of various durations to fill the gaps in training plan generation.

I think whatever metric you optimize for here is not right or the sigmoid part that should capture hard limits is not tight enough
If I choose session length of 20 minutes it's because I don't have more time than that. It's a hard limit. If you optimize for max fatigue/capacity or something else that outweighs it this is am issue that your model don't allows for compromises with hard limits. It's fine if I don't get jacked in 4 weeks as long as I have a consistent training plan that shows results in half a year instead I am plenty happy 😊
Nonetheless, whatever update you made doesn't cut it. I still don't have 65minutes available when I sset it to 20 (it got 24, the timer is still a bit awkward 😶)

jakob1379 To be fair, the first routine starts at 25 minutes (if you do the minimum number of sets), so it's really close to the 24 preference. Only the last routine does not fit at all. But overall I agree with you and we'll work on refining the duration slider, and the filtering of routines based on duration.

Can you please give me some more details so I can try to replicate the issue and try to give you a solution?

Choose
some
preferred length, and observe it being completely ignored 😅Louis Deveseleer
jakob1379 Thanks for the video! The algorithm prioritizes routines that match the level, objectives and equipment, over time duration, but that is a really big gap there. We'll look into adding shorter routines to fill that gap.

That should be a very clear signal when planning, otherwise it's no use for people another things to do than training 😅
